Course content
The Business Analytics MSc develops knowledge and skills in analysing business data to support strategic decision-making. The programme combines elements of business, analytics and artificial intelligence to help students understand how organisations use data to inform planning, performance and innovation.
Students explore approaches to business analytics, data visualisation, business intelligence and marketing analytics, learning how data can be used to identify patterns, evaluate performance and support business strategy. The programme also examines how artificial intelligence and analytics tools can be applied to business decision-making and organisational strategy.
Learning focuses on the interpretation and communication of analytical insights within business contexts. Students work with real-world case studies and datasets to analyse business problems, evaluate data-driven strategies and present insights to different stakeholders.
The programme concludes with a capstone project in which students apply their knowledge in a practical setting through consultancy work, a research internship or the development of a new business venture.
