Entry requirements
Normally a minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent or successful completion of the Graduate Certificate International Management.
A wide range of professional qualifications are also accepted either in partial or complete fulfilment of entry requirements.
Where a student has gained a recognised Honours degree but does not meet the normal entry qualification requirement, they may still be considered for entry if they can demonstrate relevant work experience of a minimum two years duration post study and acceptable level of responsibility.

Course content
In a world of increasing globalisation, there is a need for world class Operations Managers who can work effectively in an international business environment.
On this programme, you will study in depth the function of Operations Management and its role within a successful organisation. You will look at managing operations and complex situations while developing the skills to work closely with Marketing and Sales, Research and Development, Procurement and Supply Chain functions. There is a high level of technical input and your learning will be informed by examples from numerous manufacturing and service settings.

You will look at how technology such as automation and artificial intelligence is driving Industry 4.0 and the opportunities and challenges provided by Big Data Analytics, the Internet of Things, the Digital Economy, Drone Applications, 3D Printing, Robotics, Augmented Reality and more.
