SQE1 Preparation
Entry requirements
The entry requirements for the SQE1 Preparation are:
- 2.2 law degree covering foundational legal subjects (contract, tort, public, crime, trusts, land) completed in the last 5-years; or
- 2.2 non-law degree and pass in a law conversion course which covers foundational legal subjects completed in the last 5-years; or
- If the law degree/conversion course is older than 5-years, students must take and pass an admissions test (the ‘Admissions Test’) OR enrol on the SQE Law Starter course and pass the Admissions Test; or
- Equivalent qualifications, including L6 CILEX, overseas law degrees or combined honours law degrees. If such a qualification covers some but not all foundational law topics, candidates will normally be required to (a) study the missing topics on a Law Conversion Modules Route; or (b) study BPP’s SQE Starter Course or similar and pass the Admissions Test

- Wills and the Administration of Estates (FLK2)
Legal Services (FLK1), Professional Conduct (FLK1&2), Taxation (FLK1&2), Solicitors Accounts (FLK2) will also be covered together with helpful revision materials for the Legal System of England and Wales.
