Course content

To offer knowledge and expertise for a career in the pharmaceutical industry, academia or in primary/secondary care.

Research in the Cardiff School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences currently encompasses aspects of all facets of the study of drugs, including: the discovery of new potential drug entities, using synthetic chemistry; formulation of drugs to achieve targeted responses; pharmacological studies of mechanisms of drug action; as well as researching elements of current medical and pharmaceutical practice.

Information for international students

A 1st or upper 2nd class UK Honours degree or equivalent is required. British/EU students must hold minimum of GCSE / 'O-level' English Language or equivalent (contact School for details). Overseas students should normally have achieved 6.5 in IELTS.
