Entry requirements

MPhil: Normally a first or upper second-class degree in Business Management or a related subject.

PhD: A 2.1 Honours degree or above in a relevant area. Applicants without a master’s degree will be required to complete an MSc in Social Research Methods.

English language requirement IELTS 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.

Course content

We invite applications from well-qualified candidates whose research interests correspond to our areas of research expertise focused on Business Management. The School of Management conducts a broad range of business, management, accounting, finance and economics research.

Each student has access to computing facilities. In addition we have a number of open access computer labs and a range of dedicated software programmes including the latest Microsoft packages, statistical packages such as SPSS and SAS, and a range of specialist software including Nvivo, EViews, STATA and Datastream.
