Master’s Programme in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity Conservation
Gain a comprehensive understanding of biology—from genes to entire ecosystems—and develop expertise in ecology, evolutionary biology, and conservation.
Which species can adapt to a changing environment?
In the Master’s Programme in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity Conservation, you will explore key questions about the natural world across three core areas: ecology, evolutionary biology, and conservation biology. The programme provides a broad perspective on biological processes, spanning from genetic mechanisms to interactions within communities of species.
This multidisciplinary programme combines theory with hands-on learning. You will take part in lectures, laboratory and computational training, interactive seminars, and field-based study tours. Field courses offer unique opportunities to study diverse environments, from boreal forests and wetlands to subarctic ecosystems.
