Entry requirements

A first degree in Music Technology or related subjects. All applicants will be expected to have a solid prior knowledge of standard music studio devices and their function, including practical experience across a range of typical audio software. Applicants also need to be able to demonstrate an element of experience in the area.

Course content

Course will encourage students to explore their own creative ideas at an advanced level, and to invent and consider creative solutions to problems. It aims to provide an education that will enhance prospects of professional employment within music, the arts and related technological industries. Students investigate common core elements, including research methods, studio systems and recording (hardware/software), and surround-sound and remixing. The dedicated topices are DSP, software development and UI design, using a variety of development environments.
