MSc Pharmacy Practice
Entry requirements
Applicants for the MSc in Pharmacy Practice should be registered Pharmacists in the UK with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Applicants must have a practice site and work-based tutor recognised by the University of Hertfordshire (transferrable within the JPB collaborative subject to approval). Please note the minimum level criteria for those wishing to undertake the Independent Prescribing for Pharmacists module.

Course content
This career-focused Pharmacy Practice course has been developed in partnership with Joint Programmes Board (JPB) London, East and South East England.
Throughout the programme students undertake work-based learning supported by a recognised work-based tutor and attend study days on campus at the University of Hertfordshire.
The aim of the programme equips practitioners with core skills and competencies required to provide pharmaceutical and patient care in real practice settings within a multidisciplinary team.

Fees and funding
If you’re studying a postgraduate degree e.g. a MSc, MA or LLM you may be eligible for a postgraduate master’s loan up to £11,836.
Those studying pre-registration postgraduate healthcare courses and PGCE or unsalaried schools direct can apply for the undergraduate funding package. Graduate-entry medical students can also get support from Student Finance England for fees charged over £3,465.
Postgraduate loans are paid directly to the student, so you decide how to spend the money, whether that be to pay for some or all your tuition or to go towards living costs.
