Entry requirements

Minimum upper second-class degree from a UK university, or equivalent overseas/professional qualification. A wide range of subjects accepted in Business, Economics, Science, Engineering, IT, Management and Marketing, Communication, Education, Political Science and Sociology. Work experience in a related field is not a requirment but can compensate for degree subject/grades. Applications assessed on individual merit.

Course content

This programme aims to provide you with relevant theoretical and practical knowledge of the core areas of project management. The compulsory modules provide a foundation in project management concepts, while the wide range of optional modules allows you to enhance your knowledge and understanding in many related disciplines. Further specialisation can be achieved through the dissertation. Successful completion of this MSc will give you confidence in pursuing a career in the expanding project management profession. The programme welcomes applicants from a wide range of disciplines. Having work experience would be an advantage and might be used against certain entry requirements – this will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Optional modules: Business Ethics; Accounting and Control; Managing within a Global Context; Systems Thinking; Consultancy Skills; Problem Structuring; Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and New Business Venturing; Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence; Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods; International and Comparative Human Resource Management
