Entry requirements

Entry onto this postgraduate degree requires a minimum of a 2:2 Undergraduate honours degree in a related discipline from a UK ENIC listed institution.

If your honours degree is not in a related discipline but you can demonstrate extensive professional experience in the subject, your application will be considered.

Experience

Current or recent relevant work experience (within the last two years) is required to enable you to contribute to the course.

International Students

If you are an international student, you will need to show that your qualifications are equivalent to those above.

If English is not your first language you must show evidence of English Language competence at IELTS level 6.0 (with no skill below 5.5) or equivalent.

Accredited Prior Learning

If you can't meet these minimum requirements it may be possible to take into account evidence of Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) as an alternative method of meeting the programme’s entry requirements. In such a case, appropriate references and records of employment might be presented to support the applicant’s case for admission.

Course content

Study entirely online for a postgraduate certificate, diploma or master's delivered in partnership with 2020 Project Management.

Develop your strategic and practical approaches to managing projects in a range of environments. You will gain an understanding of the principles and practice of project management. We will give you the tools and techniques to contribute to the delivery of projects. You will study online and gain your degree within 18 months. Our course includes the option to gain additional professional qualifications and receive guidance on working towards Chartership.

UK and EU fees for 2021-2022

The tuition fee you are required to pay will depend on the qualification you want to achieve. For 2021 entry onto the Project management:

  • PgCert, the total tuition fee is £3,000 for UK/EU, Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man students
  • PgDip, the total tuition fee is £6,000 for UK/EU, Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man students
  • MSc, the total tuition fee is £8,000 for UK/EU, Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man students.

Payment of your fees via instalments is available. To arrange this, please contact our Finance team on finance@yorksj.ac.uk.

International (non-EU) fees for 2021 - 2022

The tuition fee you are required to pay will depend on the qualification you want to achieve. For 2021 entry onto the Project management:

  • PgCert, the total tuition fee is £3,000 for students living outside the UK/EU PgDip, the total tuition fee is £6,000 for students living outside the UK/EU
  • MSc, the total tuition fee is £8,000 for students living outside the UK/EU.

Tuition Fees

We have a limited number of scholarships available. You can apply to these to help you pay your tuition fees:

Changing Times Scholarship - £2,000

This is for self-funding mature students looking to change career direction due to uncertainty and / or redundancy.

2020 Project Management “Professional Development” Scholarship - £2,000

This is for self-funding students who have completed a professional qualification with 2020.

International Student Scholarship - £2,000

This scholarship is merit-based. Students must be self-funding and demonstrate excellent performance in previous academic studies.

EU Scholarship - £2,000

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a permanent resident and national of France, Germany, Greece, Spain or Italy and be self-funding.
