A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in any subject. Experience in an educational context is desirable but not essential.

Course content
The importance of education is recognised worldwide, and education has many different aspects. This course focuses on education in a very wide sense. You'll consider broad questions including:
- what is education for?
- what does it look like around the world?
- why is it this way?
You’ll gain a firm grounding in education research methods. You'll also carry out your own investigations. Our teaching staff are educational experts in the field. You'll study alongside students from a variety of international and professional backgrounds, including UK teachers. You’ll learn from each of their perspectives to enhance your own knowledge of education.
Information for international students
English Language Requirements:
Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in writing, and 5.5 in all other sub-skills).
If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a pre-sessional English course.
