Course content

The MSc Engineering Project Management combines sustainable engineering and contemporary project management to prepare you for leadership in a rapidly expanding market. Developed through a partnership between the Sustainable Engineering and Technology department and Roehampton’s Business School, the programme brings together expertise in sustainable engineering and project management to equip you with the knowledge and skills to manage complex engineering projects in evolving professional contexts.

A strong emphasis is placed on sustainability and positive social impact. You will explore how to plan and execute projects in ways that minimise environmental impact and promote resource efficiency, integrating sustainability into decision making and project delivery. The programme also addresses strategic alignment, innovation, digital transformation and stakeholder engagement, supporting you to manage engineering projects with a holistic and informed approach.

Teaching combines lectures, workshops, seminars and applied learning, alongside independent research culminating in a research project. The programme has been designed to meet the accreditation standards of the Association for Project Management qualification.
