Course content
This MSc Construction Project Management focuses on developing digital, data-driven and leadership skills for managing construction projects. It is designed for graduates and early to mid-career professionals looking to progress into project management roles in the construction sector.
The programme covers core aspects of construction project management, including sustainable construction, risk and uncertainty, professional practice, and the use of digital tools such as BIM. It reflects current industry practice and prepares you to manage projects in a range of contexts.
Learning is practical and applied, with opportunities to work on real-world projects and engage with industry through case studies, site visits and guest speakers. Teaching is delivered through lectures, seminars, workshops and independent study.
Assessment includes individual and group tasks designed to reflect professional practice. The course is supported by specialist facilities, including laboratories, project studios, and CAD suites, enabling hands-on learning.
