Course content

The MSc Construction Management and Digital Innovation focuses on construction, engineering, and infrastructure project management, with an emphasis on sustainability and digital innovation.

The programme develops knowledge and skills in project management, sustainability, risk management, and data-driven decision-making. Students explore the use of digital tools, including BIM and AI, to support project delivery and improve project outcomes across construction and engineering contexts.

The course covers project management principles, engineering innovation, data analytics, and BIM for project management. Students also complete a research project focused on contemporary engineering and construction challenges.

Teaching takes place through lectures, seminars, workshops, practical sessions, case studies, site visits, and guest lectures. Students have access to specialist facilities including project studios, laboratories, engineering workshops, and CAD suites.
