Course content
The MSc Clinical Neuroscience is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time postgraduate degree designed to provide advanced knowledge of brain function in health and disease. The programme explores the biological, psychological and clinical foundations of neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions, alongside contemporary approaches to diagnosis, treatment and research.
Students develop a strong grounding in core areas including clinical neuroimmunology, biopsychology, lifestyle medicine and research methods. The course integrates theoretical understanding with practical application, offering opportunities to engage with clinical assessments, data analysis and independent research.
The programme culminates in a substantial research project, enabling students to apply advanced scientific reasoning and analytical skills to a focused area of clinical neuroscience. Graduates are prepared for careers in healthcare, pharmaceutical and commercial research, academic study, medical writing, and doctoral-level research.
