Course content
The Digital Health programme explores how technology can be used to improve healthcare delivery, patient outcomes and health system efficiency. The programme examines the development, implementation and evaluation of digital health solutions in healthcare settings.
Students study areas including artificial intelligence in healthcare, telehealth and virtual care, wearable technologies, digital therapeutics and emerging digital health innovations. The programme also explores the ethical, regulatory and policy considerations associated with digital health technologies.
Learning combines theoretical understanding with practical application through projects, industry collaboration and research activities. Students develop skills in research design, evaluation of digital health interventions, data analysis and project management.
The programme concludes with a capstone project in which students independently research or develop a digital health intervention addressing a real-world healthcare challenge under academic supervision.
