Entry requirements
This programme is open to graduates from any discipline and does not require marketing study to be completed at undergraduate level.
One year course
- You will need an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honours degree (2.2 or above)
Two years with placement
- You will need an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honours degree (2.1 or above)
Additional requirements
- All applicants will be required to demonstrate a commitment to the subject they wish to study and should demonstrate how their chosen programme of study will benefit them in their future career.
- One academic reference is required.
Other qualifications and experience
We welcome applications from students with non-standard qualifications and learning backgrounds and work experience. We consider credit transfer, vocational and professional qualifications, and any work or life experience you may have.

Marketing is evolving — and our CIM-accredited MSc Marketing will help you lead the next wave of marketing innovation. If you need help achieving the academic entry requirements, we offer a Pre-Masters course for this degree. The course is offered through our partner Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC) based on our City campus.

If you opt for the two-year option you can add a year’s work placement onto your course. It’s a great way to put your learning into practice and gain valuable real-world experience to help boost your career prospects once graduating. Completion of a placement means you'll also qualify for a Placement Diploma in Industrial Experience.
